This Privacy Policy explains how Dr.Biriyani Sivaji Kadai ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards personal information when you visit our website, place an order, track an order, or otherwise interact with our services. • Contact & order data: name, phone number, email (if provided), delivery address, order details, and preferences.
• Payment data: amount, payment method, and gateway reference IDs. Full card, UPI, and net-banking credentials are handled directly by our payment partner (Razorpay) and are not stored on our servers.
• Device & log data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, referring pages, and timestamps, used to secure and improve the service.
• Location: pickup/delivery address you enter, and (where applicable) map-based distance to the selected branch.
• Account data: if you create an account, we store your login identifier (email or phone), hashed PIN, saved addresses, and order history.

• To accept, prepare, deliver, and reconcile your orders.
• To send order confirmations, status updates, and delivery notifications via WhatsApp / SMS / email.
• To process payments, refunds, and settlements.
• To operate loyalty rewards, coupons, and referrals you opt into.
• To prevent fraud, enforce our Terms, and comply with applicable law.
• To improve menus, timings, and service quality (in aggregated form).

We share data with the following processors strictly to run the service:

• Razorpay Software Pvt. Ltd. - online payment processing.
• Google Maps Platform - distance / route calculation for delivery.
• WhatsApp / SMS gateways - order updates and OTPs.
• Cloud Storage - encrypted database, authentication, and file storage.
• Delivery partners - order riders receive only the details required to complete your delivery.

Each partner is bound by their own privacy commitments and processes data only for the purposes above.

We use essential cookies and local storage to keep your cart, session, and preferences (e.g. selected branch and order type) between visits. We do not use advertising trackers.

We retain order records for the period required by applicable tax and consumer laws (typically 8 years for GST records). Account details are retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter. You may request deletion (subject to legal retention requirements) using the contact details below.

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:

• Access, correct, or update your personal data.
• Withdraw consent for optional processing (e.g. marketing).
• Request deletion of your data.
• Nominate a person to exercise these rights in the event of death or incapacity.

Our services are intended for users 18 years and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a minor has provided us data, please contact us for deletion.

We use industry-standard measures — TLS encryption in transit, row-level access controls in the database, PIN hashing, and gateway-tokenised payments — to protect your data. No method of transmission is 100% secure; we work continuously to protect your information.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
